M.M.A.S.A – Myosteopractic Functional Bodywork
Before arriving in SA in 2004, Wolfy had been living in the Far East for over 15 years, where he started his spiritual and healing quest. Through courses in Thai massage and working with Doctor of Chinese medicine, his serious interest in the physical body and its healing aspects began.
In 2009 Wolfy completed a one year intense training to further his studies at the Myosteopractic College in Cape Town, with a basic degree in Anatomy and Physiology.
Myosteopractic is a bodywork system that integrates a range of functional alignment and structural release techniques. Its unique approach is dynamic engagement with the body and intuitive tracking of any blockages. It assists in the alignment of the spine, the release of joints , muscles, tendons and ligaments; opens neural channels and rebalances myofascia lines, setting in motion the body’s own healing and detoxing process. Myosteopractic is practiced on persons fully clothed.
Having done a 7 day detox every year for the past 18 years, Wolfy understands the need for physical attention of the body to deepen the detoxing effects.
Wolfy currently practices Myosteopractic in Greyton and Cape Town (Hout Bay).
